How To: Wear Summer Whites

Spring is in the air! In hot climates like Texas you have to keep in mind breathable, light fabrics and colors to keep you cool. White ranks high on that list.

Don't freak out about wearing white! Yes there is always the change you may spill your wine as you snack on cheese and crackers, but hey you're a you won't spill right!?

Quick Tip! Get those whites out and possibly the bleach. Yes honey! Carefully wash your whites separately and iron them. After that, take a look at my tips below and rock your spring and summer whites!

1. Match Your Whites
Not all whites are the same shade of white. Try your best to match your whites so the look appears seamless and obvious discoloration isn't a major worry.

2. Make Up & Hair
This is a must! The outfit is simple and effortless by nature of the monochromatic look. Opt for a matching simple "makeup with no make up" look or go for a bold lip for a splash of color. Tried out the double front bun for a trendy take on my natural hair.

 3. Match Accessories
Looking for a warm or cool tone all white outfit? This can be shaped by the kind of jewelry and accessories. Silvers and gun metal grays provide a cool tone.
Golds and rose golds provide a warm tone. Keep this in mind for the trim of both your purse and shoes also for consistency.

4. Add Neutrals
Keep the look simple by adding some neutrals. Here I added a light grey cardigan and taupe suede booties to keep the simple vibe alive...that rhymed!

5. Add Color
You can also keep the all white look as a canvas to add a splash of color. Opt instead for a fun pair of sneakers, bold purse or a vibrant minimal sandal heel for a splash of color.
