Sunday Funday: Dallas, TX

8/30/2015

Welcome! When I'm not burying my head in books or blogging away I cherish time with close friends and family. Join me as we journey through a #SundayFunday featuring one of my best friends!

We started the day at Spiral Diner & Bakery, located on the southside of the city. Spiral serves deliciously tasty classics all made with organic and vegan goodness. My all time favorite their cashew "cheese" supreme nachos! Pictured above on my plate is their vegan burger with tangy BBQ sauce. And yes making awkward faces is one of my many talents.

Trends come and go, and as you know I seldom fall for such things but I when I saw these tribal print shorts I just couldn't pass them up! For this look I choose to keep things light and fun. Pairing the tribal shorts with an off white tank crop top, black heels and black accessories. For jewelry I chose to pair things with silver accents in both my necklace, watch and bracelet.

Over the past two years I've enjoyed getting to know the city of Dallas and what the city has to offer. Pictured above is the Margaret Hunt Bridge completed in 2012 and designed by Santiago Calatrava the bridge spans the length of the Trinity River and truly adds to the city's aesthetics.

That's about it! Had a great lunch with one of my oldest friends, met up with a mutual friend, made new friends and ate some more! All that done in the stylish way I know how for my  Dallas #SundayFunday!
