Travel Diary: San Francisco | Oakland | Lower Haight

12/20/2014

California has been so good to me! San Francisco is such a vibrant and free spirited city. I began my day at a local outdoor craft market perusing pashmina scarfs, costume jewelry, and dope snap back hats like the pink one pictured above. The market is right in the heart of the Civic Center which is home to the UN Plaza that faces City Hall with it's elegant golden rotunda design.

From there I headed with a dear friend of mine to a few spots in Oakland and finally Treasure Island with a breathtaking view of the city, Angel Island, The Golden Gate Bride and The Oakland Bridge.

Finished the day off with a few more laughs (and pictures of course) as we passed by the iconic Victorian Barron homes and the ever famous Painted Ladies in the Alamo Square/Lower Haight area. You know those four colorful houses from the show Full House?!

Great day overall! Outfit details as always below. What else would you like to see on my trip?
